Interpretation of electronic fetal monitoring can provide evaluation of the fetus's oxygenation status and well being at the given time.
Nurses and physicians working in an antepartum or intrapartum setting should be familiar with using correct terminology to describe electronic fetal monitoring interpretation. Learn the definitions from the 2008 NICHD workshop in order to avoid putting your foot in your mouth.
